Job Summary and Responsibilities

Are you a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician ready to ensure the seamless operation of critical hospital infrastructure? Join our essential Facility Services Department!

 

You'll maintain, repair, and optimize the physical structures and equipment across all hospital properties, guaranteeing a safe, functional environment for healing.

 

You will:

  • Comprehensive Maintenance: Assist in maintaining/repairing HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Urgent & Routine Repairs: Perform all types of repairs to keep systems operational.
  • Patient Room Expertise: Conduct PMs and repairs on patient room furnishings, beds, plumbing, TVs.
  • Emergency System Support: Assist with emergency generator systems, inspections, and testing.
  • Preventative Maintenance & Safety: Perform PMs on physical structures/equipment; comply with safety codes.
  • Documentation: Maintain routine records of inspections, PMs, and repairs.
  • General Support: Perform manual duties (moving supplies/furniture, replacing bulbs).
  • Technical Interpretation: Read blueprints, interpret instructions, and prepare specifications.
  • Electrical Work: Assist in replacing, installing, repairing, and testing electrical circuits/equipment.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude: Good knowledge for using/repairing various mechanical equipment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and repair issues across systems.
  • Technical Interpretation: Read blueprints, understand drawings/instructions.
  • Required Education and Experience:
    • Maintenance equipment experience/training.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Required Licensure and/or Certification:
    • Current and valid State of Oregon Driver’s License.
    • Clean motor vehicle report (MVR).
  • Preferred: Healthcare related mechanical work.
