OR Nurse
It takes a special type of nurse to work in surgery. Not only do they have to be skilled in the operating room, but they also have to maintain composure and manage a rollercoaster of emotions as the status of their patients could change in the blink of an eye. Most patients will never fully realize what their surgical nurse did for them during their most vulnerable moments, but we do. What you’ll do:
Assist surgeon and surgical team in the OR
Care for patients before, during, and after procedures
Develop and implement nursing care plan for surgical patients
Ensure operating rooms are prepped with all necessary equipment and supplies

Job Summary:
Our surgical services nurses provide intra operative nursing care to all patient populations undergoing surgical procedures. This work includes developing, implementing and assessing the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams and the patient and family.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
One year of OR experience
Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
Certified Nurse of the Operating Room (CNOR) is preferred.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
