The Virginia Mason Interventional Pain Clinic, in Seattle assists patients who are suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. We specialize in interventional pain management approaches for a wide variety of problems, including spinal pain and cancer pain. We also provide consultations on medication management. The Interventional Pain Clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art X-ray (fluoroscopic) and ultrasound equipment. We work closely with Virginia Mason's Section of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, where spine clinic evaluations and treatment are provided. The services we provide in this clinic includes: �Epidural Steroid Therapy �Facet and Sacroiliac Joint Therapy �Intrathecal and Epidural Therapy �Nerve Blocks for Chronic, Postoperative or Cancer Pain �Spinal Cord and Peripheral Nerve Stimulation �Trigger Point Therapy The RN role will be to provide monitored care for sedation. Therefore, ACLS will be required before start date The Ambulatory Interventional/Procedural Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high quality, skilled nursing services to assist patients to achieve optimum health, functional health status and safe passage while receiving an invasive or interventional procedure during an episodic or series of visits. As an Ambulatory Interventional/Procedural Registered Nurse you will: - Demonstrate technical expertise while supporting the patient and the care team during the episodic visit where interventions and procedures occur. - Use the nursing process to support a patient in achieving an optimal level of wellness as defined by the patient. - The Ambulatory Interventional/Procedural Registered Nurse assists patients to achieve optimum functional health status and safe passage throughout their procedural experience. - Provides skilled assessment and triage, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources, - The Ambulatory Interventional/Procedural Registered Nurse assists patients/families, staff and systems to achieve high quality, evidence-based, cost-effective, and patient-focused outcomes. - Nursing care provided by the registered nurse reflects the nursing process through an integration of knowledge, skills, experience, and attitudes needed to meet the needs of patients and families.
