The Clinical Educator is a Registered Nurse responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, conducting and evaluating educational programs within Nursing/Patient Care Services. Emphasis on orientation, training, development and accreditation requirements. Responsibility also includes providing consultation to the Professional/Support Services in meeting the educational needs of the staff. Functions as an expert practitioner within assigned areas of responsibility. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and education programs appropriate to the age of patients over the life span within assigned areas of responsibility. Assists Education Director with Nursing Orientation.
