Our Nutrition Assistant I are critical to the success of St. Joseph's Medical Center and require the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health. It is expected that our employees demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.

Follows healthcare food service industry standards, regulations, guidelines and procedures including monitoring and maintaining food temperatures during cooking, holding and storage processes. Avoids cross contamination of foods and adheres to personal hygiene requirements. Maintains proper labeling of food products and ensure storage of food equipment and machinery per regulations and facility guidelines.

Qualifications

Required

  • No experience necessary.
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
