Responsibilities

Are you a skilled Sonographer seeking flexible PRN opportunities to apply your expertise? St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, is hiring a Per Diem (PRN) Sonographer to join our dynamic imaging team!

 

We're looking for a dedicated professional to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, contributing directly to accurate patient diagnoses and care. This role offers the flexibility you desire while allowing you to work with a supportive team in a leading medical facility.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently to obtain optimal images.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during exams.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical staff.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • State of Washington registration/licensure as required.
  • Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
