Responsibilities

Director Clinic Operations - Ortho Services

 

 

Contributes to the fulfillment of the CHI Health mission and vision by planning, designing, implementing and maintaining programs, policies, and management systems in all facets of clinic operations for the division/market.  Frequent travel between locations across the CHI Health MBO is required.  

 

  • Assures compliance with all applicable JCAHO, federal, state and agency laws, regulations, guidelines and professional standards.
  • Develops and manages capital and operational budgets in support of strategic plans and goals. Develops and monitors and responds to a full range of financial, service and quality indicators in all areas of responsibility.
  • Develops, coordinates, and manages operating systems and operational standardization, service standards, approaches, policies for the departments.
  • Maintains a system of management reporting that provides timely and relevant information on all aspects of clinic operations across the market.
  • Functions as a liaison for the assigned clinics within the market or multiple markets along with other departments within CHI Health and the Physician Enterprise to ensure an integrated operation of the clinics and facilities within the overall system.
  • Responsible for assuring appropriate management practices, maintenance of appropriate staffing levels competency assessment, staff orientation, ongoing education and development in all areas of responsibility.
  • Promotes CHI Health on all of its services within the community and maintains positive community relationships.
  • Works with service line leaders and the management team to develop a true continuum of care for CHI Health clients.
  • Collaborates with medical director / medical site leaders and all appropriate provider relationships.
  • Assists clinic operations with procedures as permitted by licensing and credentialing.
  • Actively participates in QI activities and efforts to improve patient care processes across the division.
  • Facilitates market monthly meetings and divisional committees for Physician Enterprise clinics.

Qualifications

Required Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline; Master’s Degree strongly preferred
