Responsibilities

In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Central Service Distribution Technician is a professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for his/her contribution toward the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and their families. This position performs a wide variety of technical and manual tasks in the Central Service Department, under the direction of the Central Service Manager.

Qualifications

One year of storeroom or shipping experience or CSR distribution experience required; however, the experience requirement is waived for individuals who have completed a Central Services Technician (CST) externship at Sequoia Hospital. Complete annual safety training. Complete and maintain department specific training. Knowledge of linen principles desired. Familiarity with various Materials Management systems. Basic computer skills. i.e. Data entry, e-mail, and handhelds. Must have a valid California driver?s license
