Job Summary and Responsibilities

This is a split position: Diagnostic radiology .5 FTE and Mammography .4 FTE

 

As our Diagnostic and Mammography Technologist, you will provide technical expertise in diagnostic radiographic procedures. Every day you will perform advanced diagnostic and screening mammography procedures with exceptional accuracy and expert diagnostic radiographic and bone densitometry imaging. You will be expected to lead the charge in maintaining and exceeding MQSA standards, ensuring optimal quality and compliance and mentor and guide future radiology technologists, fostering their growth and success. To be successful in this role, you must champion patient safety and comfort, always adhering to radiation safety protocols and manage routine equipment use and perform precise QC requirements for all modalities.

  • Clinical Procedure Proficiency: Successfully performs a full range of clinical radiology procedures
  • Student Guidance & Education: Provides essential guidance to Radiology Technologist students to ensure a successful clinical education experience
  • Radiation Safety Adherence: Strictly follows all established radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff
  • Equipment Management & Quality Control: Manages the routine use and performs all Quality Control (QC) requirements for Radiology equipment
  • Professional Practice Standards: Demonstrates adherence to professional practice standards in all aspects of the role
  • Comprehensive Patient Care: Provides appropriate and compassionate patient care for all Radiology patients, meeting their diverse needs

 

We are offering a $30,000 employment incentive to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

 

Job Requirements

Required

 

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.  Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.  Must actively work toward registry and licensure in Mammography and Bone Densitometry as required by MQSA and the ND state NDMIRT 




Preferred

  • Basic Life Support Certification (CPR- Healthcare Provider) within 480 hours of employment and meets re-certification as required
  • Registered Technologist (or registry eligible graduate) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.  Must achieve registration within six months of graduation or hire date
  • Licensed by the NDMIRT Board to practice Radiography in North Dakota
