A Licensed Vocational Nurse performs nursing duties within the guidelines of hospital policies and procedures. The LVN will provide primary skin care to residents with emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders. The LVN also will assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident in accordance with the established medical practices and the requirements of CMS (Center for Medicare Services) and OBRA Guidelines on Pressure ulcers. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Community Hospital of San Bernardino strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement, process, and activities.
