Responsibilities

In keeping with the Marian Regional Medical Center philosophy, the Sterile Processing Lead supports
the activities of all personnel in the Sterile Processing department with an attitude of caring, respect and
a high level of customer service to patients, visitors, coworkers, caregivers, and medical staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Five years previous experience in acute care hospital with sterile processing.
  • IAHCSMM or CBSPDT certification.
  • CPR - BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.
  • Coursework in medical terminology, human anatomy, microbiology, infection control, decontamination, disinfection, instrument assembly and packaging, high-level sterilization, biological testing, and inventory management and distribution required.

  • Previous leadership experience is preferred.
  • AA degree preferred
