CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.  CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

CHI St. Alexius is looking for a Full Time Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join the team!

We're seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to align HR initiatives with business objectives across our diverse organization. You'll serve as a trusted, evidence-based consultant, partnering with leadership to foster a thriving culture and achieve strategic goals.

 

You will:

  • Be a strategic HR advisor: Partner with leaders to develop and implement HR plans that support business growth and objectives.
  • Champion employee relations: Resolve complex issues, provide coaching, and promote a positive work environment.
  • Navigate labor relations: Offer guidance on policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Drive culture and engagement: Integrate our mission, vision, and values into daily practices.
  • Collaborate for success: Partner with HR Centers of Expertise to deliver value-added solutions.
  • Mentor and develop: Guide HR colleagues as a seasoned professional.

Qualifications

You bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of complex HR/leadership experience OR 5+ years of relevant HR/leadership experience.
  • Proven expertise in employee relations, with broad HR generalist knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of employment and labor law.
  • Exceptional coaching, change leadership, and business acumen.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP (preferred).
