Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic, fluoroscopic and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, under the general direction of a radiologist and radiology administration. In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Lead Radiologic Technologist is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and their families.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Radiologic Technologist III or greater and must have a minimum of 4 years relevant experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Must have license/certification in the Modality (CT) of the section they are assigned to.
  • Must have satisfactorily completed formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school required.
  • CRT and Fluoroscopy permit in accordance with California state regulation. 
  • BLS Cert through AHA.
  • ARRT and CRT (CT) required.
