We currently have an amazing opportunity in our Cardiac Cath/Interventional Radiology Lab for a Cath/IR Invasive Technologist. Working in our fast moving Cath/IR Lab certainly offers a variety of procedural exposure to procedure scrubs/radiology technologists who choose this clinical area by professional expansion. We are looking for Rad techs and/or RCIS techs who can wear many hats and think quickly on their feet while providing the best patient care! The Cath/IR lab invasive tech assists the team in the performing of the catheterizations and angiograms. They will monitor and examine the patient prior, during and after the procedure, as well as assist the physician and assist the medical team in whatever they may need during the procedure, such as supply knowledge and management with the department.
Responsibilities
Procedure Responsibilities:
○ Operates hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
■ Recognize and report changes in the cardiac rhythm.

■ Recognize and report changes in hemodynamic waveforms.
■ Accurately documents the flow of events from start thru completion of procedure. Scrubs and assists physicians during procedures.
Quality Responsibilities:
Education/Experience:
Graduation from an accredited school: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
License/Certification:
Current licensure as a ARRT (NE)/ RCIS
Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 - months
