Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor of Facility Services to join our facilities team and lead day-to-day operations. The Supervisor of Facility Services is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all building systems and grounds. This role involves coordinating a team of custodial and maintenance staff, managing vendors and contractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.



  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of custodial, maintenance, and facility staff. 
  • Develop and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities are safe, clean, and fully operational.
  • Coordinate and oversee repairs, renovations, and service calls.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and supply inventory.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures by regulatory requirements.
  • Train new staff and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Monitor the work order system and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Assist in budget planning and cost control for facility services.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and incident reports.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in plant operations/facilities or related field.
  • Fire Safety Card (obtain within 90 days of hire date).
