CHI Health St. Francis was established in Grand Island, Nebraska in 1887. Today our hospital is a regional referral center with more than 100 physicians and more than 1100 employees working together to build a healthier community. Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality medical care close to home where they can be supported by their family friends and community.
As a Critical Care Nurse at St. Francis Medical Center, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you’ll monitor patients who are critically ill and unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life-threatening disease. Each shift begins with a patient report from a nursing teammate before making your rounds. You’ll continue to provide whatever care or procedures are required throughout the shift. Compensation: Base rate + shift differential
