Overview

St. Luke’s Health - Memorial Hospital in Livingston, TX,  is located just off Highway 59 south. The 66-bed hospital provides more than 60,000 patient services each year, with half of those services being offered in the Level 4 Trauma-Designated Emergency Department. Services offered include, Orthopedic care, Women’s Services, and a state-of-the-art Sleep Center. Imaging services include MRI, CT scan, nuclear medicine scans, 4D Ultrasound, cardiac echocardiograms, fluoroscopy, bone density scanning and 3D mammography.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The role involves clerical and customer service functions within the Imaging Services Department, including greeting and directing patients, preparing patient documents for scanning into the EMR, maintaining security and telecommunications systems, and assisting with basic patient care needs. The position emphasizes adherence to the organization's values, mission, and vision.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Completing work with accuracy

2 Providing excellent customer service

3. Processing documents for EMR

4. Verifying patient information

5. Maintaining clerical supplies

6. Training new staff

7. Collaborating with physicians' offices

8. Routine record keeping

9. Adhering to hospital policies and regulatory guidelines (including HIPAA and confidentiality)

Qualifications

Education Required

HS/GED

Preferred

Associate degree or applicable college courses

 

Licensure/Certification Required

BLS through AHA

 

Experience Required

One year of clrical eperience

One year of customer service experiece
