Responsibilities

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Opportunity at Community Memorial Hospital!

Are you a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant seeking a role where you can truly impact patients' lives? Community Memorial Hospital invites you to join our compassionate rehabilitation team!

Under the supervision of our Staff Physical Therapists, you'll provide medically appropriate physical therapy services, helping patients reach their maximum functional performance and achieve greater independence. You'll work in a collaborative environment committed to our Mission and Philosophy.

As a PTA, You Will:

  • Deliver Patient-Centered Treatment: Skillfully implement and progress rehabilitation programs, and effectively design/communicate home exercise programs, all under PT supervision.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Warmly welcome patients, demonstrate genuine concern, and provide encouraging feedback, fostering positive connections with clients and their families.
  • Optimize Efficiency: Effectively manage your time, prioritize tasks, and remain adaptable to increased caseloads by maximizing personal efficiency.
  • Demonstrate Initiative: Proactively assist colleagues, willingly teach in-service classes, and be prepared to work outside regular hours when caseload demands.
  • Ensure Accuracy: Maintain timely, complete, and accurate documentation, including patient progress notes and discharge planning, and ensure precise patient charge capture.
  • Foster Collaboration: Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with colleagues and all departments, contributing to a supportive and problem-solving workplace.

Qualifications

 

Education:  Graduate of an approved or credentialed Physical Therapy Assistant Program.

 

Licensure:   Licensed or license eligible in the State of North Dakota if applicable to degree and field.
