Physical Therapy Tech: Join Our Team at Community Memorial Hospital!

Are you an organized, enthusiastic individual looking to contribute to a patient-focused rehabilitation environment? Community Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Tech to support our Physical Therapists and enhance patient care!

Under the supervision of our Staff Physical Therapists and PT Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department. This position is perfect for someone eager to learn, assist, and be a key part of a team dedicated to helping patients achieve their maximum functional performance.

As a PT Tech, You Will:

  • Support Patient Flow: Transport patients, prepare them for therapy, and assist therapists with gait training, exercises, modalities, and wound care.
  • Maintain Department Efficiency: Manage charts, schedule appointments, handle mail, answer phones, and perform accurate charting and transcription.
  • Ensure Operational Readiness: Monitor, order, and stock supplies, ensure the department is clean, organized, and disinfected daily, and manage equipment placement.
  • Coordinate Documentation: Ensure all necessary forms are signed, track progress notes, and ensure patient charts are complete for filing.
  • Contribute to Team Success: Assist with various administrative tasks, compile monthly reports, and support Restorative Care and Cardiac Rehab activities as needed.

Qualifications

Education: Technician training program at the Physical Therapy Department at St. Alexius Medical
Center.

Licensure: Training certificate.
Experience: Three years as a Physical Therapy Aide or college degree in Physical Education, Recreation
Therapy, Athletic Training or related fields.
