Requirements:

• This position requires at least 3 years experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technician or a combination of education and experience which provides for the knowledge, skills and abilities of the job. 
• Associate of Science Degree from an accredited College with a major in neurodiagnostics, biomedical technology or general science.
• Special skills required for the position include the knowledge of: all aspects of neurological testing; EEG and evoked potential procedure techniques; CQI techniques and principles; motivation and morale principles; the philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy; computers and databases.
• Candidates must also have the ability to: communicate effectively with physicians, patients, nursing staff, department heads and administrative personnel; track preventative maintenance needs of all departmental equipment; organize work and adjust priorities accordingly.
