At CommonSpirit Health at Home - Corporate, we strive to embody our mission of delivering hope and healing to those we serve. CommonSpirit Health at Home is seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst II to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing financial results and providing vital analytical support to our accounting department. You will generate comprehensive reports, present findings and recommendations to key executives, and actively seek opportunities for financial performance improvement. This position also involves close collaboration with CommonSpirit Health at Home’s accounting department to integrate efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completes all duties of a Financial Analyst I when directed by department leadership.
  • Generates written reports related to financial results in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Takes responsibility for the completion of the annual budget process for assigned service lines and/or service-line section(s).
  • Acts as a dedicated analytical resource to key executives, committed to supporting their financial performance analysis needs.
  • Generates routine analytical reports in Excel and Access.
  • Supports assigned executives in preparation for financial reporting meetings, assisting with understanding financial performance data, reports, trends, and organizational accountabilities.
  • Meets with assigned executives weekly and attends key operations meetings.
  • Responds to ad hoc financial analysis requests in a timely manner.
  • Examines reports for outliers, identifies exceptions, and reports findings.
  • Reviews financial performance and trends, identifies and monitors key organizational financial indicators, and researches causes behind financial performance trends.
  • Conducts self-initiated financial analysis and seeks financial improvement opportunities.
  • Works with operational leaders and various departments to perform modeling and analysis of financial and statistical activities to inform decisions.

Qualifications

Candidates must reside in one of the approved remote worker states: AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, NC, ND, NE, NJ, OH, SC, TN, TX, UT, WI

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and understanding of financial modeling systems using spreadsheets and computerized accounting and billing systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are preferred.
