Speech Language Pathologist

CHI Health Immanuel, located in North Omaha just off of I-680 on 72nd Street, offers a full-service hospital, cancer center, rehabilitation center, specialty spine hospital and more. • Provides speech language evaluations, care planning, patient treatment and education according to the professional practice guidelines defined by state and professional sources.
• Works as a collaborative team member to develop a coordinated care plan that is accountable to achievement of established goals.
• Is knowledgable and completes all required documentation and billing requirements according to established local, state and federal law.  
• Is responsible for the knowledge and application of measurable quality metrics associated with the area of active practice.  Periodically attends team meetings to discuss/improve program evaluation/quality measures
• Takes responsibility to stay current with evidenced based practice guidelines, stays current with new research introduced and serves as a professional resource to other team members in the area of speech language practice in a medical setting.
• In support of the academic health mission of the organization, periodically accepts assignment of student clinical education at all levels of clinical training.
