Be a part of something new! We are immediately hiring for a position supporting the development of our brand-new Georgia hospital, with a planned go-live date of December 2025. This opportunity includes comprehensive training and orientation at our established CHI facilities in Tennessee and Georgia.

Responsibilities

1p-9p with W/e Call requirements

 

Surgery can be very scary for a patient. It’s our job to make sure surgical instruments are ready for use when needed. Our Sterile Processing Techs ensure that our instruments are sterile and clean while confirming equipment needed works properly. What you’ll do: 

  • Prepare surgical instruments by ensuring the equipment is clean and sterile
  • Clean, assemble, wrap, and sterilize instrumentation used for surgery
  • Handles and processes surgical decontamination according to established policy/procedure
  • Serves as a preceptor in training and orientation of fellow staff members and students

Qualifications

  • High school graduate 
  • Preferred- Certified Sterile processing, Central Sterile Program graduate, Surgical Tech Student, or Sterile processing work experience
