Must have completed a formal Sonography course or have completed four years of progressively responsible experience in an ultrasound department (such experience must have been within the last five years). Completion of annual safety training. Completes and maintains required unit specific training. Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasonographers (RDMS) or RDCS or RVT in at least one field of specialization (i.e. Echocardiography/Doppler, Abdominal or OB/Gyn) or eligibility for certification and must achieve certification within one year of eligibility. (CT ARDMS) Current Basic Life Support for healthcare providers required. (CT CPRBLS)
