CHI Health has an immediate need to add a Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant (NOT Med Aide or CNA) to our General Surgery Clinic located at our Lakeside Campus off of 168th & Center!

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430p, NO weekends, NO holidays & NO call! 

 

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) plays a vital role in our general surgery practice, providing exceptional clinical and administrative support to surgeons and licensed providers. The CMA ensures the smooth, efficient flow of patient care by performing a variety of pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative tasks. This position requires a high level of professionalism, specialized procedural knowledge, and a compassionate approach to patient care. 

 

**CHI Health requires that ALL Medical Assistants / Certified Medical Assistants MUST be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid 
  • Current/valid nationally recognized certification, registration or recognition for medical assistants (AAMA/CMA, RMA, NCMA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
