Dignity Health Advanced Imaging, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, provides cutting-edge diagnostic imaging services at 23 locations across Redding, Santa Cruz, Sacramento, Woodland. Our team of 160 staff members work with our specialty trained and board certified radiologists to provide high quality care to our patients. The locations perform more than 175,000 exams annually with the goal of providing top quality imaging, compassionate care, and timely service with a smile.
Responsible for facilitating services and providing clinical support within DHAI MRI and CT departments. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to perform prescribed exams as directed by following DHAI policies, procedures and protocols. Must have a strong desire to provide and promote high quality imaging standards as well as MRI and radiation safety in compliance with accrediting and regulatory requirements. Support and collaborate with Radiologists to develop new protocols and implementations at sites. Assist with reviewing staff competency and training.
Graduate of an AMA accredited diagnostic imaging program
Requires knowledge of radiation and MRI safety principles, hazardous materials management, and infection control policies/procedures
Understands radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to staff and patients
Able to recognize potential abnormalities and prioritize accordingly
Must possess knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and its application in CT and MRI, including 3D reconstruction
Experience in one or more defined imaging areas
CT ARRT, CT CPR - Requires ARRT Registered Technologist, {RT(R)} in good standing
BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification required
State Licensure (CRT) is required
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision
Must be able to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environments and take appropriate actions in emergent situations
Prior experience in a leadership role is desirable 3 years experience in Imaging preferred
Additional specialty certification within area of expertise preferred
