Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Insurance Services Supervisor, the Insurance Services Representative II is responsible for providing timely and efficient follow-up to all parties necessary to resolve any issues related to insurance or patient billing, consistent with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health Medical Foundation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three (3) years minimum experience with insurance in a professional medical billing office.
- Has a thorough understanding of insurances for all groups Dignity Health Medical Foundation services.
- One (1) year experience with IDX and Flowcast.
- Customer service experience.
- Communicate effectively and train end users over the phone.
- High School diploma required or GED.
- Ability to understand complex insurance issues at each different Dignity Health Medical Foundation geographic location.
- Preferred knowledge of working TES edits.
- Working knowledge of computers and demonstrated proficiency in using e-mail systems, Internet and MS office software applications.
***The position is remote/work from home in the greater Sacramento area.
