What You’ll Do – Your Essential Role in Patient Care:

As a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist, your expertise will be instrumental in:

  • Performing Advanced Radiography: Setting up and operating radiology equipment to achieve the correct size, depth, and detail of requested exposures, adhering strictly to physician orders and department protocols.
  • Patient-Centered Communication: Clearly explaining procedures to patients and responding to their questions and concerns, ensuring a comforting and understanding environment.
  • Safety & Precision: Utilizing equipment and accessories, and employing techniques to ensure consistent, high-quality results while diligently protecting patients, yourself, and others from unnecessary radiation.
  • Comprehensive Patient Care: Delivering compassionate patient care across all age groups during exams, responding to emergency situations within your scope, and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Training & Mentorship: Contributing to the professional development of future Rad Techs by offering instruction and broadening student knowledge.
  • Operational Support: Performing incidental office duties, assisting with scheduling, maintaining records, and participating in inventory and ordering of supplies as needed.

Qualifications

Are You the Expert We're Looking For?

We're seeking dedicated professionals who meet the following qualifications:

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
  • Experience: One year of recent related work experience, demonstrating attainment of requisite job knowledge, skills, and abilities. Experience in an acute care radiology department is preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
    • Current Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
    • Current healthcare provider BLS certification.
