Where You’ll Work

St. Luke’s Health - Memorial Hospital in Livingston, TX,  is located just off Highway 59 south. The 66-bed hospital provides more than 60,000 patient services each year, with half of those services being offered in the Level 4 Trauma-Designated Emergency Department. Services offered include, Orthopedic care, Women’s Services, and a state-of-the-art Sleep Center. Imaging services include MRI, CT scan, nuclear medicine scans, 4D Ultrasound, cardiac echocardiograms, fluoroscopy, bone density scanning and 3D mammography.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Medical Director and Director of Imaging Services, operates diagnostic equipment and performs complete diagnostic imaging tests inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings. 


Position Summary:

1. Performs complete diagnostic imaging tests on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director.  
2. Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards. 
3. Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed before/during/ after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards.   
4. Completes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure.   

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed as Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with Texas Medical Board
  • Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (R)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through an approved AHA program
