Overview

As our RN Resident (New Grad) at CHI St. Vincent, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you’ll transition from practicing procedures as a student to becoming a professional nurse. You’ll build trust with your clinical preceptor and patients as you practice classroom concepts in real time. Our residency program establishes your position as a reliable resource and helpful supporter of patients and families.

CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is a 280-bed faith-based, non-profit, Magnet Accredited facility providing quality health care to patients and communities all over Arkansas. As the only level II trauma center in the southwest part of the state, CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is the regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, neuro, ortho, oncology, and critical care/pulmonary. Responsibilities

  • You’re in patient rooms, quickly rotating between immediate needs and check-ins to provide patient care while being monitored by your preceptor
  • Open to learning more about the business and operational practices in our facility
  • Develop patient advocate skills through observance and practice
  • Build your nursing skills as you learn to put your education into practice with actual patients 

 

We are offering a $15,000 Sign On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree In Nursing.
  • Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Arkansas Board of Nursing 
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Upload, along with your application submission:
    • The available tracks include: Acute Care/ Critical Care/ Critical Care Stepdown / Operating Room/ Emergency Room 
    • A Professional Resume
    • Cover Letter detailing the area of interest (preferred track)
    • Unofficial Transcript with cumulative hours of credit and cumulative GPA. (current)
