Responsibilities

About This Position

In keeping with the Arroyo Grande Community Hospital’s health care philosophy, the RNFA Reports to the Director of Surgical Services. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation and documentation of surgical patients. Overall responsibility is for the nursing care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes, including supervision of OR Technicians. Directly assists surgeon intraoperatively, assists with patient positioning and directing other surgical team members while practicing perioperative nursing.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years Perioperative Practice
  • Current California RN License
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • BSN Preferred
  • CNOR certification
  • BLS within 30 days of employment
  • ACLS within 30 days of employment
