Responsibilities

Become a Champion of Compassionate Care as a Certified Nursing Assistant!

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a vital member of our healthcare team, working directly under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or Therapist. You will play a crucial role in delivering quality patient care, ensuring a safe and clean environment, and supporting the overall efficiency of our practice through special clerical and housekeeping duties. Your dedication will directly contribute to the comfort and well-being of our patients every day.

 

In this role you'll:

  • Delivering Direct Patient Care: Provide hands-on patient care and assistance with daily living activities, strictly following treatment plans as directed by the Registered Nurse or Therapist.
  • Ensuring Safety & Well-being:
    • Demonstrate proficient use of proper body mechanics for both yourself and patients to prevent injury.
    • Uphold and demonstrate proper infection control standards and practices to maintain a sterile and hygienic environment.
  • Accurate Documentation: Complete all required documentation precisely and in a timely manner, contributing to comprehensive patient records.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate clearly, respectfully, and appropriately with the healthcare team, ensuring seamless information exchange and coordinated care.
  • Adherence to Standards: Consistently comply with the organization’s high standards of care and the Oregon Nursing Practice Act, upholding professional integrity.
  • Team Support: Perform other duties as assigned by management, showcasing flexibility and a commitment to team success and overall facility operation

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Education: High School diploma/GED and age 18+.
  • Licensure & Certifications:
    • Active Oregon Nursing Assistant registration.
    • Current AHA BLS Certification.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Effective English communication (read, write, speak).
    • Proficiency in applying technical knowledge.
    • High degree of accuracy.
    • Computer literacy: E-mail, education platforms, EMR/order entry.
