Responsibilities

Are you keenly observant, highly responsible, and committed to patient safety? Join us to provide vigilant care for high-risk patients through in-person or camera/monitor technology!

 

You'll be instrumental in preventing adverse events, maintaining focus, and communicating critical information.

 

You will:

  • Continuous Observation: Maintain constant, visible contact with assigned patients (in-person or via streaming video). Observe for physical, emotional, mental changes; signs of deterioration, agitation, impulsiveness, unassisted movement, line/tube interference, vomiting with masks.
  • Critical Communication: Promptly communicate all patient requests and reported changes to staff; escalate as necessary per protocol.
  • Environment & Activities: Maintain a clean, safe environment; provide diversional activities as designated.
  • Documentation: Accurately document observations and actions.
  • Utensil Management: Document utensils into/out of patient rooms.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Exceptional Observation: Ability to identify subtle changes and maintain focus.
  • Reliability & Judgment: Strong sense of duty; follows protocols; uses best judgment.
  • Required Education and Experience: Any combination of related education and experience demonstrating job knowledge/abilities.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Current Oregon CNA.
