Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to play a key role in optimizing our organization's operations and driving innovation in our processes. As a Process Engineer, you will lead complex projects to design, develop, and implement advanced processes, systems, and technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, quality, and safety while reducing costs and environmental impact.

 

A National Real Estate (NRES) Process Engineer focuses on optimizing and improving NRES-related processes within an organization. This position will engineer processes related to Demand Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, Resource Management or overall NRES Administrative processes. The chosen candidate will own the full scope of the defined process for the CommonSpirit Health organization.


Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced analytics, processes, systems, and technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
Conduct detailed process analysis, including process modeling, simulation, and optimization, to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Collaborate with teams to translate new product designs and concepts into scalable processes, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Design quality assurance procedures for process validation, qualification, and optimization, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Lead cross-functional teams to execute process improvement projects, from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project milestones.
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, materials, and methodologies to enhance process capabilities, reduce cycle times, and improve product performance.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address process-related hazards, ensure product quality, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to Enterprise teams, troubleshooting process issues, resolving equipment failures, and optimizing productivity.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials, to ensure consistency and compliance.
Collaborate with legal, supply chain, contracting, finance and other key stakeholders to optimize workflows, reduce lead times, and minimize inventory levels while maintaining production efficiency.
Communication - Responsible for communicating to all stakeholders for assigned processes. Includes Enterprise Executive communications to C-suite professionals. 
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Total Quality Management (TQM), to enhance process performance and eliminate waste.
Mentor and coach junior engineers and process analysts, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and collaboration within the organization.
NRES Process Engineers play a vital role in ensuring that an organization's NRES processes, projects and operations run smoothly, securely, and efficiently, ultimately supporting the overall business goals. Their work helps organizations adapt to technological demand and evolving business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare or related field or Minimum 5-7 Years of Experience
  • Lean Six Sigma (LSS) or ServiceNow - SPM, APM, Resource Management, Time Tracking, Project Portfolio Management
  • ServiceNow SPM, APM, Resource Management, Time Tracking, PPM Google Product Suite Experience
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, process improvement, and project management, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in process modeling tools such as Lucidchart, or similar software (i.e. Visio).
  • Familiarity with process automation technologies, workflow management systems, and business process management (BPM) tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and project requirements.
  • Positive attitude, proactive approach, and a passion for driving organizational change and improvement.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, process control systems, and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and root cause analysis.
