Responsibilities

Our Medical/Telemetry unit has 38 beds.  We have a varied medical/telemetry population of cardiac, sepsis, pneumonia, and diabetic patients.  Our RN staff provide primary care and we have an RN to patient ratio of 4-5 to 1.

As a Med/Tele nurse you will provide nursing care to all patient populations to include chest pain, COPD, CHF, Sepsis, Renal/hepatic and some post surgical.  This work includes developing, implementing and assessing the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams and the patient and family.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
One year of related work experience is preferred
Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required
American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
