Located just off Highway 59 south, the 66-bed hospital in Livingston provides more than 60,000 patient services each year, with half of those services being offered in the Level 4 Trauma-Designated Emergency Department. Services offered include, Orthopedic care, Women’s Services, and a state-of-the-art Sleep Center. Imaging services include MRI, CT scan, nuclear medicine scans, 4D Ultrasound, cardiac echocardiograms, fluoroscopy, bone density scanning and 3D mammography.

Supports the delivery of safe, cost-efficient patient care in the Emergency Department by performing a variety of helpful functions as delegated by the RN or Physician. Performs selected diagnostic and therapeutic tests and
procedures. Provides assistance in transporting, transferring, lifting, and manual assistance with patient care. The function performs general clerical support to the unit, as well as performs cleaning functions in patient care unit.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Licensure/Certification: Texas EMT-Basic
BLS
Effective Communication
Critical thinking skills
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
Basic Computer skills – familiarity with Windows based software programs
Experience: One (1) year of previous Emergency Room experience preferred
