As our Market Manager, Supply Chain Implementation, Central Coast, you will champion the successful implementation and compliance of supply chain (SSRM) initiatives across our diverse Central Coast locations. This pivotal role demands a proactive leader who can anticipate, organize, and communicate effectively to ensure maximum value capture from supply agreements. Based in the Central Coast area (e.g., Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo), you will serve as a critical bridge between end-users, internal teams, and SSRM colleagues, leveraging your expertise and influence to coordinate efforts across an expansive network of stakeholders to achieve ambitious market and system-level savings targets.
Every day you will lead cost reduction programs and develop strategic approaches across critical supply areas, meticulously managing conversions with an unwavering focus on total value capture. You will act as the primary point of contact for clinical engagement, diligently enforcing vendor management policies, and expertly coordinating new product requests and trials. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating extensively with stakeholders on both local and system-wide implementations, ensuring seamless product and service conversions by anticipating impacts, communicating proactively with hospital departments, and providing essential assistance with quality, analytics, and education.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong background in supply chain management, implementation leadership, and stakeholder collaboration. Extensive experience in cost reduction strategies, vendor management, and clinical engagement will be vital. You must be a highly organized, influential communicator with a proven ability to manage contract exceptions, navigate new product requests, and monitor vendor performance. The willingness to travel approximately 50% across Ventura County to Redwood, including monthly visits to each of our 6-7 facilities, is essential for this dynamic and impactful position.
