Job Summary and Responsibilities

All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner. The FNP operates as a patient care clinician and a clinical staff supervisor. This position provides individualized care, focusing on family medicine and preventive health care. He/she oversees and supervises all clinical staff functions including planning, organizing, delegating and controlling the activities of the clinic under the supervision of the Clinic Manager. 

 

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of two years experience as PNP.
  • Experience in working with the critically ill child in inpatient setting preferred.
  • The work experience shall demonstrate maturity and leadership abilities.
  • Current BCLS and PALS certification and Los Angeles County Fire Card required.
  • Demonstrates computer and computer peripheral equipment skills.
  • Clinically competent in patient care delivery and skilled in use of medical supplies and equipment. A
  • ble to utilize telephone, fax and copier machines.
  • May answer pages, carry a beeper/pager, and/or use a two-way radio.
  • Local travel may be required.
  • Nurse Practitioner licensure; a graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current licensure by Board of Registered Nursing, State of California.
