Medical Surgical Ortho Nurse

Located in the Phoenix, Ariz., suburb of Chandler, the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 429-bed, not-for-profit hospital with more than 2,600 team members and almost 1,000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. Level One Trauma Center, 1:1 or 1:2 Nurse Ratio, Staffed 24x7 by certified Intensivist, Shared Governance (house wide and unit based), Opportunity for growth & ability to cross train within ICU (Trauma, Neuro, Surgical, Medical, CVICU), 32 Medical / Surgical Beds, 17 Trauma Beds, 5 CVICU Beds, State of the Art equipment, Self-Scheduling. Responsibilities may include:

•  Assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations.

Minimum:  

• One (1) year RN experience within applicable clinical specialty.
• ADN, Diploma, or foreign equivalent.
• Current AZ State RN License in good standing.
• Current BLS healthcare provider card.
• Current ACLS card must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Preferred:  

• Bachelors of Nursing Degree.
