The incumbent installs all types of wall covering, performs all painting, patching, plastering of the hospital and related buildings. Performs roof work as needed and any other related tasks. May access medication storage areas in accordance with their job function and hospital policy.

Essential Function

• Complete all wall covering, baseboard, floor covering, and other installation requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintains records of type, color, and brand of paint used in all areas as well as a complete inventory of paints and supplies used with 95-98% accuracy.
• Uses proper preparation methods for protecting all areas involved in the assigned work area as well as follows all safety precautions in order to prevent accidents.
• Completes documents for all work orders and cleans all equipment and work area by end of each shift.
• Completes other assigned tasks and projects in a professional and timely manner.

• 4 years Painter experience in an industrial setting.
• Current valid California Drivers License.
• Installation of all types of wall coverings and baseboards, tape new sheetrock and plaster walls. Preferred
