Job Summary and Responsibilities

Are you a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist driven to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life? Join our dynamic, collaborative healthcare treatment team!

 

You'll provide hands-on direct patient care (evaluation, treatment, education, discharge planning), collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and supervise support personnel.

 

You will:

  • Policy Adherence: Maintain established policies, procedures, quality assurance, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Comprehensive Evaluation: Evaluate patients to determine OT intervention needs; make referrals as appropriate.
  • Goal-Oriented Planning: Develop realistic goals with patient input; explain treatment plans/goals.
  • Individualized Treatment: Plan OT treatment programs based on evaluation interpretations; interpret findings for team/patient/family.
  • Expert Implementation & Supervision: Implement treatment or supervise COTA/OT student; delegate routine care, acting in a supervisory role.
  • Medicare Compliance: Collect and provide necessary billing documentation for Medicare patients.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • Exceptional Clinical Skills: Evaluate, plan, and administer effective OT treatments.
  • Required Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited AOTA program.
  • Required Licensure and/or Certification:
    • Current Oregon State Occupational Therapist license.
    • Current AHA BLS within thirty (30) days of hire.
