Job Summary and Responsibilities

Come join our 29 bed Definitive Observation 2 unit also known as 2Main. This unit cares for a diverse population of medical telemetry patients. This dynamic unit utilizes all of the evidence-based practices of the Nursing Bundle to maximize the patient experience. Your future co-workers make up a cohesive team who prides themselves on teamwork and providing exceptional care. 

This is an opportunity to work with a dedicated and dynamic core group of nurses and other allied health care workers to provide loving care to some of our community’s most vulnerable patients through patient-centeredness teamwork and excellence.

 

The incumbent is a professional who provides and supervises care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally.

Job Requirements

Minimum:

  • Current CA RN licensure
  • 1 year RN experience in an acute medical surgical or telemetry unit within the last 5 years
  • Current BLS and ACLS from the American Health Association
