Our full range of medical services includes trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

 

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll play a vital role in helping patients regain or strengthen their communication and swallowing abilities through expert evaluation, care planning, treatment, and education. You’ll work collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team, developing coordinated plans that achieve meaningful, measurable outcomes. In this role, you’ll maintain thorough documentation and billing in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, while also contributing to quality initiatives through participation in team meetings and program evaluations. Staying current with evidence-based practice and the latest research, you’ll serve as a trusted clinical resource for your colleagues. Additionally, you’ll have the rewarding opportunity to support our academic mission by mentoring and guiding students in their clinical training.

Job Requirements

Required Education for Staff Job Levels

Minimum of a Masters from an accredited Speech Language Pathology School

Required Licensure and Certifications

Active speech therapy license in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or speech therapy  licensure compact.  Basic life support is required upon hire.  Must obtain CCC status from American Speech Language Assocation within 18 months of hire.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

High level of competence in both written and verbal communication, conducts self in a professional manner at all times, works well in a team environment, strong knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations and professional standards relating to Speech Language Pathology

PREFERRED Qualifications

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) completed
