Job Summary and Responsibilities

CHI St. Alexius is looking for a Full Time Secretary to join the Surgical Services team!

 

The Surgical Services Secretary works under the general supervision of the Clinical Coordinator.  Provides and performs secretarial, receptionist and scheduling services associated with the overall operation of Surgical Services in accordance with the mission and philosophy of St. Alexius Medical Center.



What You'll Do:

  • Answers Telephone promptly using proper phone etiquette.
  • Contacts clinics for pre-operative data retrieval and on-going communication to maintain appropriate and effective information flow.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with all departments within the Medical Center, with Surgical Services staff, clinic staff and outside facilities
  • Demonstrates an ability to prioritize workload.
  • Maintains accuracy of patient information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education: High School student, graduate or equivalent.

 

Licensure: None

 

Experience: No previous experience required.
