Our main OR suite includes 6 operating rooms and we perform over 3,200 cases per year, including general, orthopedics, urology, gynecology and robotics. Our Surgical Services Leadership team includes a Director, a Perioperative Clinical Manager, and a Perianesthesia Clinical manager.
Job Summary:
Our Recovery Services nurses provide pre-, and post-operative nursing care to all patient populations undergoing surgical procedures. This work includes developing, implementing and assessing the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams and the patient and family.

Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
Minimum of 2 years current experience in an acute, inpatient PACU setting within the last 3 years strongly preferred OR Graduate of ICU residency with a minimum of six months ICU experience. Experience with airway emergencies, (i.e. laryngospasms, airway obstruction, stridor and arrest).
Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for PACU and SADU
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of date of hire for PACU
Certified Perianesthesia Nurse (CPAN) or Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse (CAPA) preferred.
