Manager Nursing Chemical Dependency

CHI Health St. Francis was established in Grand Island, Neb. in 1887. Today, our hospital is a regional referral center, with more than 100 physicians and more than 1,100 team members working together to build a healthier community. Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality medical care close to home, where they can be supported by their family, friends, and community.

The nursing manager for our Outpatient Chemical Depency Program is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and maintaining initiatives for Grand Island and Kearney programs. Soon the programs will merge and the primary location will be in Kearney, NE. 

• Has the authority to interview, hire, orient, terminate, promote, train and conduct performance evaluations.
• Allocates and directs staffing needs to meet patient, unit and Hospital needs, and collaborates with others to ensure overall staffing needs are met.
• Manages performance including: goal-setting, clarifying job expectations, monitoring performance progress, providing feedback, recognize, developing skills and addressing performance issues related to work and our Commitments using corrective action.
• Monitors and oversee Customer and patient engagement, growth, quality initiatives and patient safety for multiple departments, utilizing regulatory and organizational knowledge and policy for multiple areas as separate functions.

**Interim travel expected between Kearney and Grand Island**

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Min 3 years experience in leadership
