CHI Health Nebraska Heart delivers leading-edge services to Nebraska and northern Kansas. Alongside the physicians is a dedicated team of advanced practice clinicians, nurses, technologists and staff; all committed to providing quality care and education to meet each patient’s needs during diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
Some of what you will do:
1. Cleans and disinfects patient, ancillary and public areas as assigned daily following established procedures.
2. Operates manual, battery-powered and electric equipment such as mechanical floor cleaners and vacuums. Maintains and stores all equipment in a safe, sanitary manner.
3. Collects, handles and disposes of designated waste streams and soiled linens in the prescribed manner.
4. Completes stat and routine discharge room cleans.
5. Adheres to all hospital required Safety, Risk Management and Infection Control practices
6. Identifies and reports work orders for maintenance/refurbishing needs.
7. Inspects EVS equipment for cleanliness and need for repair.
