Job Summary and Responsibilities

Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a real difference in patient care? St. Joseph Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to provide exceptional patient care consistent with our values and regulatory requirements.

 

In this vital role, you will:

  • Develop, implement, and assess patient care plans in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patient families.
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delegating tasks to the patient care team.
  • Educate and consult with patients, families, physicians, and staff to implement optimal nursing interventions.
  • Utilize your judgment and critical thinking skills to make patient care decisions within your scope of practice, ensuring efficient use of staff and resources.

 

We are looking for an individual who is accountable for the quality of care provided, with the authority to direct care, provide education, seek resources, and delegate appropriate tasks. Job Requirements

Education/Experience

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.  

One year of related work experience in an acute care setting is preferred.  

Possession of a BSN degree is preferred.




License/Certification

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

Current Healthcare BLS Certification.

Specialty certification, as appropriate to the assigned work unit, is strongly preferred.
