Job Summary and Responsibilities

In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity, the Administrative Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and their families and for the clinical operations of the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager and/or Chief Nurse Executive.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or or evidence of work towards a bachelor degree - degree requirement may be waved in lieu of experience of 10 years+ working in an operating room environment.
  • Graduation from an accredited program of professional nursing.
  • Three (3) years of clinical experience within the past five (5) years, in an Operating Room/Surgery unit within a healthcare setting.

  • Demonstrated

    leadership in the department within the last two (2) years (example: project management, charge nurse role, relief charge, preceptor, etc.)

Licensure:

  • Registered Nurse: CA (RN:CA)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
