Supervisor Scheduling

The Chattanooga Heart Institute offers the most comprehensive cardiac care available in this region. Founded in 1976, we now have six offices in Tennessee and one in Georgia. Job Summary:

Oversight of the day to day operations of the scheduling department at the Cleveland, TN office.  Training and coaching staff in all areas of their job functions and ensuring accurate and timely patient access.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Oversight of all scheduling staff at Cleveland, TN office.
• Ensure accurate and complete providers' schedules at assigned office.
• Track staff productivity in various areas.  Audit patient care-slips, ensure completion of no show reports, and reminder calls for assigned office.
• Implement internal policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the department.
• Create weekly employee schedules to ensure coverage.
• Oversee Order Facilitator, Hospital Charge Capture, and Hospital Scheduling process at Cleveland office.
• Cover scheduling areas as needed.
• Consult with providers/clinical staff to schedule patients or resolve scheduling questions.
• Work with referring physician offices to help build relationships and resolve concerns.
• Provide timely and accurate feedback on processes and challenges to Manager/Director of Scheduling Operations.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline OR 3 years' experience in the discipline.

Qualifications:

• Five years in medical registration/scheduling setting.
